The station of the switchman
The station of the pointsman was built by c. and k. railway standards. It was a building of wood brown color with roof of the sheet metal or of the cardboard. The station was equipped with a metal stove and table and chairs for the performance of services. During the period changed the station of its color appearance. Today the stations for pointsman does not serve its purpose, and have already been canceled. Other stations for the pointsman is used for maintenance of the switches on the gridiron.
The building of grain silos is younger than the stations for the pointsman (they were built at the end of the existence of the Austro-Hungarian Empire). In addition, these silos not build to the norms of railways, but according to the food standards. The Silo, which was the source of our garden railway is located in Sudoměřice and at the time his photo shoot still served its purpose. In the Czech Republic there are many similar grain silos which are situated in railway stations supplemented with handling rails.
The railway station of Steinbach is located in the Federal Republic of Germany in the Ore mountains, on the narrow-gauge railway Wolkenstein-Jőhstadt. The station Steinbach is located about in the middle of the narrow-gauge railway Johstadt-Wolkenstein, and today is the end station for the stretch of Steinbach-Johstadt. A stretch of the railroad Wolkenstein-Steinbach was not restored. The narrow-gauge trains today run only to Steinbach, where it ends.
The station building of Steinbach is an interesting that the railway warehouse and a waiting room with a ticket shop consists of a single object.
The draft of the station Steinbach was selected for garden railways from the spatial reasons of the garden railway.
The model of the station of the garden railway is slightly a bit different from the reasons for the impossibility to access to modern production technologies. The walls of the model are "plastered" with the plaster. On the roof is etched a "eternit". Under normal circumstances, would have been used as the station building c and k the Austrian railway standards, but due to space, was elected the "dachshund" Steinbach.
The station of the c and k Austria-Hungary
The railway station was build according to c. k. Austrian railway standards is located in many places in the Czech Republic and Austria. The model of the station is built according to a Small railroad rail D4-building workbook.
The model represents a real station built to the c.k. drawings of the stations, which are on our railways in a significant amount.
